Delivery charges and information

All orders (subject to stock availability) are normally dispatched within 1-2 days. Any out of stock items will be delivered within 28 days maximum. If we are unable to dispatch within this period we will contact you to arrange a mutually agreed alternative date. If we cannot agree another date, we will issue a refund of the purchase price of the out-of-stock items.

Minimum order value

The minimum order value is £50 net.

Specific dates

If items are needed by a specific date please contact us before you place your order. Although we cannot guarantee a specific date due to factors outside of our sphere of influence (e.g. couriers who do not guarantee a delivery date) we can ensure that we do our utmost to ensure delivery by the desired date and can advise if this is possible. As delivery from our warehouse takes a few days we cannot offer next-day delivery.

Postage and packing

All goods are dispatched using DHL and insured against loss.

Delivery of items from our regular range usually takes 3 working days within the UK and Europe but can sometimes take a day longer.

Nienhuis items are shipped directly from Nienhuis in the Netherlands and should be with you in approx. 7-10 days. 

E.g: Orders placed on Thursday will typically be dispatched on Friday and should arrive on Wednesday.


We will provide you with a tracking link to monitor the status of your shipment. Once the goods have left our warehouse it is your responsibility to monitor the status of your package(s) and ensuring someone is on the premises to receive the package. This also includes contacting the courier if the parcel could not be delivered and organising another attempt or collection. This is especially important with international shipments as they are often held in customs for some days and may not send you a collection card in a timely manner.

Split deliveries

All items are generally in stock but due to unforeseen circumstances an item may occasionally be out of stock. If it is due to arrive within 2 days we will send your complete order at this time in one delivery. We will advise you of longer delays and send the item to you at no extra cost within 10 working days. Should this not be possible we will contact you to offer you a full refund of the item or, if you agree, send it to you at a later date.

Couriers / signature on delivery

We ship via couriers such as DHL, UKMail, DPD, Hermes etc. Please note that most orders will require a signature on delivery. Please ensure that you provide a delivery address where someone will be available between 9.00 and 17.30 Monday to Friday to accept delivery. Should no-one be available to sign for a package then a note will be left. With the consignment number on this note you can book another delivery, redirect to a neighbour or organise a collection from the depot.

** COVID-19 update: Couriers try to avoid contact and sometimes leave packages at the door if in a protected area. Please monitor your delivery using the tracking web site or App and coordinate your presence accordingly. The tracking info usually gives a countdown to the approximate 15-minute time frame by saying "x more deliveries until yours" and the approximate time. **

Unsuccessful deliveries

Please use the provided tracking information to regularly monitor the status of your deliveries. Should you see "delivery attempt failed" then the onus is upon you to immediately contact the courier (e.g. DHL) on the number provided on the tracking web site. DHL UK is 0247 6937770

Typically, if our couriers are unable to deliver an order, e.g. due to no-one being present to sign, the courier will attempt to contact you to arrange re-delivery or collection from a depot, or leave a card.

If no contact is made by you during the Holding Time (typically 1-2 weeks) or an incorrect address was entered then the order will be returned to us and we will be charged a Return Fee. This is typically £17 per box (UK + Europe) or more if the package is returned from a non-EU country, which we have to pay the courier.

We will discuss with you whether to send the package again or cancel the order, in which case a £10 re-stocking fee will apply.

If we believe we cannot risk another delivery attempt we will refund your initial payment minus this return charge, the re-stocking fee and the original shipping fee.

Shipping charges (Nienhuis premium items)

Nienhuis items are shipped directly from Nienhuis in the Netherlands and should be with you in approx. 1 week. We aim to provide accurate Nienhuis stock levels but cannot guarantee these. Items can be ordered if they are in stock or scheduled to become available within the next month.

NB: Nienhuis shipping costs start at £10 and will be shown at the checkout. Should the Pound / Euro exchange rate alter by more than 2% between order being placed and full payment being received we reserve the right to update prices to the new exchange rate.
